Ideal location, room was a bit dated but comfortable with huge bed. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was great, everything you could want. McNab bar was very fair in their drink prices. Hotel was looking great with all their Xmas decorations.

Our room faced the river, and we had a splendid view of the Inverness Castle across the way. The in-room WiFi worked flawlessly, which (we discovered) can't always be expected in Scotland. The Scotish breakfast in the morning was everything we expected. The location of the hotel was perfect for walking to downtown shopping. The staff was uniformly cheerful and helpful. All in all, we had a pleasant stay.
